DCI Score Overview

Fiverr’s microexperience reflects several best practices that contribute to their DCI performance of 124, including both an Engagement Score (ES) of 80 and Virality Score (VS) of 167. Their #FiverrConnections contest is a great example of how a brand can leverage social to promote testimonials and brand goodwill through first-person stories.

  • Connection matters. Fiverr is in the business of making connections between people to promote sharing and collaboration, but their model can be used by any brand. As a brand you first have to identify where you can connect with your consumers or fans on a personal level, whether that be through shared experiences, product memories, or a common goal. Starting at making a connection is key to future social success with engagement and virality.
  • Let your consumers tell your brand story. Fiverr’s #FiverrConnections contest let’s their users tell the bulk of their brand story through their first-person stories about what their platform has done for them. Having your fans share a collection of personal, real, positive stories about your brand is a smart way to build brand affinity and goodwill authentically. Consumers can see through the BS, so having real fans tell your story adds credibility to your brand’s story.
