Product Updates: Create Better Experiences, Faster

If you are a Wyng user, you are definitely familiar with the second-most popular page in our product. It’s the page where you go when you are creating a new experience. 

Today we are excited to announce significant updates to the look and usability of this page that is so important to our users. I’ll provide more detail below (we also have some updates in our documentation and our product, but here are the highlights. 

  • A new Design Your Own button at the top of the page
  • Organized our templates into categories and gave it a more modern UI
  • Improved search
  • New Get Started button on hovering on each experience.

All of these updates are designed to make creating experiences in Wyng easier and faster for you. 

Design your own button

Design Your Own

This is the most popular button in Experience Studio and so we put it right at the top of the page now! For those who don’t know, this is how you start from a blank canvas.  While not recommended for your first couple experiences, a lot of our power users start here and use their own custom components from their brand component library.

 

Use Case Categories

The biggest aesthetic change to Wyng in a while is reorganizing the templates into categories. We also used this opportunity to remove a few of our older and less-used templates. You may recognize this type of interface from your favorite streaming services.

In addition to being able to scroll down, you can also click through left and right to browse categories with more than 5 templates.

Don’t know a category?  Know what you want to build and don’t want to bother scrolling?  Try our instant search at the top of the page. 

Get Started in a Click

You can still click through the template to find out more about how and why you would use it. Now, you can also get started right away clicking Get Started if you know you want to use the template.
